Spicy Sweet Potato Bisque

2 sweet potatoes, boiled
3 peppers, sliced and roasted or boiled
2 jalapenos, sliced thin-seeds removed, and pan-fried or roasted (set aside several slices for garnish)
2 tbsp salt
1 tbsp fresh cracked black pepper
2 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
3 cups water or vegetable stock
3 cups coconut milk
8 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 cup dried figs, sliced (1/4 cup set aside for garnish)
pecans to garnish

Boil sweet potatoes
Roast peppers

Combine all ingredients (except garnish ingredients) in a large pot and simmer.
Blend on high for 1-3 minutes until smooth. Garnish with reserved jalapeno, dried fig slices and pecans.
